.extendr's creation story

Joseph Rueter and Neil Berget started .extendr while searching for jobs. They noticed they had digital evidence all over the web-bios on LinkedIn and Facebook, artwork on Flickr, video on YouTube and Viddler, conversations on Twitter-but no simple way to display these complex footprints; never mind the time to game Google to get perfect organic results.

A potential employer would say, "Send me your URL." Meaning singular. Meaning one. Ever notice how many URLs people have in their email signatures these days?

.extendr is the solution to these challenges. One URL to rule them all, and improve the chances you'll make a good first impression online.

What can .extendr do for me?

Having an .extendr.com page powers the consolidation of a complete web footprint-whether that's for an individual or a company.

Use .extendr to create a root level introduction to your portfolio spread across the web. Use .extendr to highlight links to just those parts of your team's complex offering that matter to a specific client. Use .extendr to quickly organize a communal online portrait of several people.

How does .extendr work?

You can edit, add, delete and organize categories and links as you see fit. We'll start you off with a basic set: Social Networks, Communication, Recommended and Content. But how your .extendr pages works is totally up to you.

Once you've logged in, just hover over an entry to reveal editing controls.

Click "edit" to alter the title or linking URL as well as move that entry to a different category altogether.

Click "delete" to delete. Or click-and-drag "move" to shift the entry up or down within the category. Easy.
